What is LeadFerret? LeadFerret is world's largest free business-to-business database with complete information, including email addresses. Every record in LeadFerret is complete with company, name, title, address, phone number and most importantly email address. The best thing about LeadFerret is … it is completely FREE. You don't have to upload any data, earn any points, or pay anything. Just go to LeadFerret.com, search for the records you want and you'll soon be viewing them on your screen without paying a dime, or jumping through any hoops.


What fields are included in the database? With LeadFerret you receive all contact information. Below is a table that shows exactly which fields have been included in the Premium databases/lists.

I am searching for a very specific company or contact, and cannot find it in your system. Do you have that information?You may have noticed that the site is still in BETA mode.  As we move towards our full launch we will be adding more and more records, and the specific contact you are looking for may become available.  Please check back regularly, as we add new information daily.

The information for one of your contacts/companies is wrong. How do I tell you?

When you are looking at a record, there are two options to help us clean up our database.  The thumbs up/down buttons allow you to give feedback on the quality score of the data.  Doing this helps other user access quality data, allowing LeadFerret to grow, and be able to provide you more options and data.  The other way to help us clean up our database is to leave a comment on a contact.  Perhaps the phone number is wrong.  Leave a comment that simply says “phone number wrong,” and we will do our best to fix it.  This type of user feedback will help us give you the best data we can.

Do I need to register to use your site? You do NOT have to register to use LeadFerret. However, when you do create an account, you are able to utilize additional features such as saving searches, setting up your account to send you updates when new records are added that match your search criteria, and downloading contacts to vcards or spreadsheets.

What are points?Once you have signed up for an account, you will be allocated 5 points to start, which will allow you to download 5 vCards. When you are viewing the details for a particular contact, look for the "Download vCard" button at the top. Click on this button and follow the instructions to download the details for that contact in a vCard. Each time you download a contact, 1 point will be subtracted from your account. You can see your current point total in the upper right hand corner of the search page when you are logged in. You may need to refresh the page to see your up-to-date point total.

How do I earn points?At the end of each day, we will replenish your account with up to 5 points that you have used that day. So, you can download 5 vcards every day and those 5 points will be added back into your account at the end of the day. Download 3 vcards, and 3 points will be added back to your account at the end of the day. The maximum number of points we will replenish per day is 5, so if you download 7 vcards, you will only have 5 points added back to your account. Can I purchase additional points?

We are currently working on a premium subscription service, which we will be unveiling at some point in the next 60 days.  This will allow people to purchase and download more contacts, based on what level of subscription they choose, without having to go through the process of earning additional points.

Why do I have to earn points to purchase contacts?

We are able to keep points free for everyone by exchanging advertising (twitter, facebook, referrals) for contacts, through the point system.  While we are currently working on a model that allows for people to purchase subscriptions, our free option is able to remain free because our userbase is helping us get the word out.
